How it works

Type your words
Up to four lines. The block is sized as one, so a short line never towers over a long one.

Size and shape it
Anything from 40 mm to 220 mm, square, rounded, plaque or oval. The plate gets thicker as it gets longer, so a big sign stays flat.

Choose how it hangs
A keyhole slides onto a screw already in the wall and hides the fastener. Two holes, or free standing, if you prefer.

Watch the check
Every stroke and gap is measured as you type. Geometry passed means it is inside the limits we print to; Needs a review means a person looks first.
Questions people ask
- What is it, physically?
- A 3D-printed plate with your words sunk into a recess and filled with one colour of epoxy, wiped flush. The letters are the material never cut, so they stand proud of the well floor in the plate colour.
- How big can it be?
- From 40 mm up to 220 mm on a side, which is the usable area of our printer's bed. The plate thickness follows the span: 3 mm at the small end and more as it gets longer, so a wall-hung sign does not bow.
- How does it hang?
- A keyhole is the default: put a screw in the wall, hang the sign on it, slide it down, and nothing shows from the front. You can pick two plain screw holes instead, or none at all for a sign that stands on a shelf.
- Why does it sometimes say Needs a review?
- Because something in the design prints badly at this size: a stroke thinner than we can hold, two letters close enough that the epoxy would bridge them, or a gap inside a letter small enough to fill in. It still builds. A person checks it before we make it, and you are refunded in full if we cannot make it well.
- Whose design is it?
- Ours. The sign geometry is written from scratch, so unlike the hoodie there is no third-party model and no licence behind it. The words are yours.
