The hoodie pen holder

The one Sigil you can hold: a 3D-printed hoodie for your desk with an emblem cut into the chest and filled with epoxy. You design it at sigilbot.io/hoodie, in a browser, with no account and no Discord needed. Questions about designing one are answered next to the editor on that page; these are the ones about ordering.

How do I buy one without Discord? Design it on the hoodie page and press Buy. Payment runs on Stripe, which collects your card and shipping address; we never see the card. After paying you land on your own order page, which shows where the order is and the tracking number once it ships. Keep that link, it is your receipt with us.

What does it cost, and where do you ship? $24.99 with free shipping in the continental US. Alaska, Hawaii and US territories can order too; shipping there is charged at checkout. We do not ship outside the US yet. Typically 3 to 7 business days to print and pour, then carrier time; Alaska, Hawaii and US territories can take longer.

What if it arrives damaged, or never arrives? Tell us in the support server with your order number. A defect is reprinted or refunded, your choice, and an item the carrier loses or damages is reprinted or refunded once the carrier confirms it.

Can I change my mind? Yes, until your order page says Printing: tell us and we cancel and refund it. After that it is a custom item already being made, so a change of mind is not refundable. The full policy is on the refunds page.

Can I order the same one again? Yes. Design it again on the hoodie page; your last design is kept in that browser, so it is usually already on screen when you come back.

Is the design mine? The emblem is. You keep whatever you upload or type, and you promise you have the right to use it; we do not print other companies’ brands. The hoodie shape itself is a third-party designer’s model that we print and sell under a commercial licence, so buying one gets you the object, not the right to reproduce or resell the model. Terms, section 14 has the exact wording.

Custom signs

A flat plate with your words cut into the face and filled with epoxy, the same technique as the hoodie chest. You design it at sigilbot.io/signs, in a browser, with no account and no Discord needed, and the real 3D object turns on screen as you type.

What can I put on it? Up to four lines, 24 characters each, in any of our typefaces. Choose the size from about 1.6 by 1 inches up to 8.5 inches square, a square, rounded, plaque or oval outline, and how it hangs: free standing, a hidden keyhole for a single screw, or two screw holes.

What does it cost, and where do you ship? Two sizes: $19.99 up to 120 mm (about 4.7 inches) on the longest side, and $24.99 above that up to 220 mm. Free shipping in the continental US; Alaska, Hawaii and US territories pay shipping at checkout. We do not ship outside the US yet. Same making time as the hoodie: typically 3 to 7 business days to print and pour, then carrier time.

Why does it sometimes say “Needs a review”? Because the editor measures your actual lettering, not just its size. If two letters come within 0.6 mm of each other, or a gap in the lettering is narrower than that, liquid epoxy bridges it and the words read as a blob. When that happens we do not refuse the order; a person looks at it before it prints, and refunds it in full if it cannot be made well. “Geometry passed” means the design cleared those limits.

Is the design mine? Yes, and more completely than the hoodie. The sign’s geometry is generated by our own software from your words, so there is no third-party model involved: what you buy is the object, and the words are yours. You still promise you have the right to use them; we do not print other companies’ brands.

Is the free tier really free?

Yes. Unlimited plain black-and-white QR codes, no account, no card, and no watermark on the image. Free codes are generated in the official Sigil server: you come to us, make what you need, and take it away. The paid plans are about where Sigil works and how the code looks, never about removing something we put on your image.

How does it actually work?

In Discord, type /qr and press Enter. A private panel opens, you set your link, and you press Generate. The preview is visible only to you, and nothing appears in the channel until you press Post to Channel.

What does Sigil Pro add?

Personal will be $1.99 a month and will let you use Sigil in any server you are in and in your DMs. You get your logo embedded in the code, colors picked from a curated board where every pairing has already passed a contrast check, four module styles (Classic, Rounded, Dots, and Framed with a caption), a saved brand kit so future codes come out branded automatically, a history of your recent codes, and a daily allowance of generated emoji. There will also be a Server plan at $4.99 a month per server, which turns Sigil on for everyone in that server within a fair daily allowance, gives its admins the branded output, and adds a shared emoji allowance for the people who run the server. Everything else, including the decode check, is the same on every tier.

What can Sigil do with emoji?

Type /emoji, describe what you want, and it arrives with the background already cut out and sized for Discord. From there, one press animates it (a bounce, a spin, a heartbeat, a party, and a dozen more), one press turns the same picture into a sticker, and one press makes a role icon that has been fitted so Discord’s round crop does not cut the top off. The build-your-own set, where you pick a body, an expression, a skin and something to wear and it is assembled on the spot with no prompt and no wait, is next.

How many emoji can I make?

Paid plans include a daily allowance for generated emoji. Animating an emoji you already made, and turning it into a sticker or a role icon, does not count against it. Neither do QR codes. The allowance is sized so that Sigil can keep running, and we say “an allowance” rather than a number on purpose: it can move as what generation actually costs moves, and the bot will always tell you exactly where you stand before you press generate.

Do my codes expire?

No. A QR code is just an image that encodes your link directly. Sigil does not sit in the middle, does not redirect, and does not shorten anything, so there is no link of ours that can go dead. Your code keeps working as long as your own link works, and it would keep working even if Sigil disappeared tomorrow.

Can I use Sigil codes commercially?

Yes. Put them on business cards, packaging, signage, menus, event badges, ads, anything. The code is yours to use and you do not owe us a credit on any tier. What you are responsible for is the link itself and your right to use any logo you upload.

What happens to my codes if I cancel Pro?

Every code you already made keeps working forever, because it is a finished image sitting on your computer or your printed material. Cancelling only turns off the paid features going forward. You can always come back to the Sigil server and make free codes. Download anything in your history that you want to keep before you cancel.

Do you track who scans my codes?

No. We never see a scan, because the phone goes straight to your link and never passes through us. That is good for privacy, and we think it is the right default. Being honest about the tradeoff: it also means Sigil gives you zero scan analytics, so if you need scan counts you will want a link that already reports them, like your own short link or a page with your normal web analytics on it.

Why does my logo sometimes get rejected?

Every code Sigil makes is scanned by Sigil first, and the decoded result is compared byte for byte against the link you asked for. A logo that covers too much of the code, or lands on the parts a phone uses to orient itself, breaks that check. When it fails we tell you instead of handing you a code that dies at your event. Usually a smaller logo, a simpler shape, or higher contrast fixes it.

What files can I upload for a logo?

PNG and JPEG only. SVG is refused on purpose, because SVG files can carry scripts. We fetch the file only from Discord’s own CDN, cap the file size and dimensions, and re-encode it to clean pixels with all metadata stripped. Rendering happens in an isolated, resource-capped process that is separate from the bot.

Can I use Sigil in my own server?

Not yet. Sigil is in beta and lives in the official Sigil server, where free codes work for everyone. Adding it to your own server is what the Personal and Server plans will unlock, and neither is open yet. Join the server and you will hear the day it opens.

When it does: the panel is private to whoever ran the command, so other members never see your link or your preview, and nothing reaches the channel until you press Post to Channel.

Do you sell my data?

No. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. There is not much to sell in the first place: Sigil stores your Discord user ID and nothing else about you. No email, no name, and no payment details are held by us.

How do I delete my data?

Run /sigil forget. That deletes everything Sigil holds about you, including your brand kit and your history. Even without it, free-tier QR targets are kept for at most 24 hours, and history holds only your recent codes.

What if a code does not scan?

First try it at a larger size and from about a foot away, since a small print or a low-resolution screenshot is the usual cause. Check the printed contrast too, because dark ink on a light background is what phones read best. If the code still fails, bring it to the support server with the link you used, since our decode check is meant to catch exactly this and we want to see any case it missed.

Who is behind Sigil?

Sigil is built by HappyDale Holding LLC, a US company registered in Illinois. Support runs through the official Sigil Discord server, which is the fastest way to reach a human. The bot user is SIGIL#8624, so you can confirm you are talking to the real one.
